Student Voice

The Student Voice Team at KTHS is an active group of students that work with the Wellbeing, SWPBS and Leadership Teams within the school and external agencies such as community health. The role of the Student Voice Team is to raise student voice and agency across the school in a multitude of ways, whilst at the same time, developing leadership skills such as basic budgeting and event planning. The philosophy of the group is “no idea is a silly idea” and “no question is a silly question”. This philosophy encourages students to think outside the box and be creative in ways to engage students in a range of activities.

The Student Voice Team have been instrumental in creating the school values and in structuring the School Wide Positive Behaviour Program. On a social level, they have assisted with events such as colour runs, chess club, Laser Tag, R U Ok? Day celebrations, sausage sizzles and photo competitions.

The Team is open to students across all year levels and the School Captains play a leadership role.
