At Kerang Technical High School, we go beyond the basics to ensure every student reaches their full potential and can be the best version of themselves.
We will work in partnership with you and your child to provide tailored educational support. By meeting learners where they are and addressing their unique educational needs, we aim to create an environment where every student can thrive.
JUNIOR SCHOOL
Students in years 7 – 9 experience a broad and diverse range of subjects across the curriculum to identify areas of skill and interest which will help them prepare for senior school and their future career pathway. In Year 7 students participate in all subject areas with elective choices being an important part of the curriculum from year 8 onwards. Students develop the confidence to perform at their best and a growth mindset to take advantage of their learning opportunities.
SENIOR SCHOOL
As students enter senior school they have been exposed to a broad and diverse range of subjects across the curriculum. In Year 10 students will start looking toward the future and continue preparation for their final years of schooling and future pathways. In years 11 and 12 students will choose between a VCE or Vocational Major pathway both with the opportunity to undertake a range of nationally recognised VET qualifications.

At Kerang Technical High School, we have adopted the School Wide Positive Behaviour Support Framework (SWPBS). SWPBS is an internationally recognised approach with an extensive evidence base that is shown to improve behaviour, wellbeing and academic outcomes for young people.
