School Sports

Participation, Teamwork & House Pride

Kerang Technical High School offers a broad range of individual and team sporting opportunities across the school year.

Students can participate at a local, interschool, regional and state level.

House Carnivals

Each year Kerang Technical High School students can compete in our own House Swimming Carnival, Cross Country and Athletics. Students compete individually, and their individual points tally contributes to their overall House score. Parents are encouraged to be involved through either helping in timing or event duties or just watching their children participate.
At our annual Speech Night the winning House Captains are presented with our House Cup.

Swan Hill Division (Interschool Sports)

Students who are placed 1st or 2nd in our Swimming and Athletics Carnivals progress to the Swan Hill Division – Interschool Sports. Here students will compete against students from Swan Hill Secondary College, Cohuna Secondary College and McKillop College.

Loddon Mallee Region Finals

Students who place 1st in the Swan Hill Division, Interschool Sports progress to the Loddon Mallee Region level which includes student representatives from all schools across the Loddon Mallee Region.

Cross country competition is held in St Arnaud each year, swimming at Swan Hill and athletics in Bendigo. The Top 4 students in each age group of our Cross-Country event progress straight to the Loddon Mallee Region Finals.

State Representation

Students who achieve first place at Loddon Malle Region level progress to State level representation and compete in Melbourne against students from across Victoria.
